Sawfish Bay is a linear park located directly on the intracoastal waterway. The project involved obtaining funding for both acquisition and development. The almost $3,000,000 obtained from 11 sources included funding for acquisition, non-motorized boating facilities, invasive species removal, and upland recreational elements such as picnic facilities and parking.
